Having a big social media following and an influential circle of friends helps a lot. However, the final judge is always the user. The Dead Rabbit and the Drop RDA took the vape community by storm last year not because of the fancy marketing and the beautifying instagram filters. People loved them (and still do) because of their excellent perfomance and ease of use.
Heathen and Brian from The Vapor Chronicles, the minds behind the Dead Rabbit and Drop RDA’s took the best features of each and blend it together to create something new. The result of this collaboration is the Drop Dead RDA.
Starting from the top we see a two piece drip tip, with the color of the metal part matching the color of the dripper. It sits on a knurled top cap which besides the rugged look, it’s offering a nice grip to adjust the airflow.
The airflow is on top with fourteen Drop style holes in horizontal position. On the bottom there’s a line etched on the RDA to give you a cue of where your airflow lines up.
A hybrid-safe protruding 510 pin with a peek insulator is at the bottom of the RDA
The build deck of the Drop Dead RDA is identical to the original Drop with slightly larger post holes.
A notch at each side will lock the cap on so that the barrel won’t spin around when you’re removing the rda from your mod. Unlike the original Drop this lock mechanism has a little bit of a travel. The goal is to have airflow that is always centered directly facing the coils, no matter what airflow position you have.
The Drop Dead RDA will be available in Gun Metal, Rainbow, Purple, Blue, SS, Piano Black, Full Matte, and Matte with standout logo.

The recipe for success has the right ingredients in the right proportions that somehow come together to make something beautiful. I can safely predict that the Drop Dead RDA will be a milestone project for creativity, selflessness and cooperativity. Major props to Brian and Heathen for this collaboration and we hope we’ll see more in the future.
